EzeScan continues to make customers happy!

Outback Imaging’s EzeScan product suite continues from strength to strength with many happy customers across the globe. Our UK office has just reported that EzeScan picked up nominations in 10 of the 23 categories in this year’s UK DM magazine awards, becoming a finalist in 5.

This comes after last month’s news that EzeScan was voted one of the hottest products by the USA AIIM organisation www.aiim.org in the “Batch Image” category. EzeScan out-scored other prestigious products including Kofax, Any-doc, IBM, EMC, Oracle & Kodak*, to score a total of 4.4 out of a possible 5 points.

We are proud of these results especially seeing both these awards are nominated and voted by end users!

New EzeScan Website coming soon!

Next time you visit www.ezescan.com.au it’s likely that you’ll notice that the website has undergone a major overhaul.  Our aim has been to make it easier for our customers to find information about our products and solutions, and also help to simplify how to contact our Sales, Support and Admin departments.

Existing user account names have been migrated from our old system, but you will need to use the ‘Forgot Password’ option to enable you to reset your password on this new website.

Updated EzeScan Installer

We are pleased to announce the release of our updated EzeScan installer. If you are upgrading or patching your existing EzeScan workstation and are on version 4.2.159 or below you will need to install this new installer first.

Please note: We only recommend upgrading your EzeScan installation if you are experiencing technical difficulties or require access to new functionality. Please contact your reseller or EzeScan Support if you require assistance in upgrading.

New EDRMS Features in EzeScan 4.2.160

Kodak i2000 & i5000 Series - The Kodak i2000 & i5000 series range of scanners is now supported by EzeScan.

Fujitsu - Fujitsu fi5950C & fi6800 scanners are now supported by EzeScan.

Double Feed Detection - EzeScan now supports Double Feed Detection on Canon, Epson, Fujitsu and Kodak Scanners.

New EDRMS Features in EzeScan 4.2.160

HP TRIM

- The browsing of TRIM containers has now been simplified. Rather than displaying the “My Containers” screen, EzeScan can now take the operator straight to the “Search for Records” screen. This saves the operator having to press the Search button every time to search for the container.

iManage WorkSite

- The WorkSite connector can now be supplied more information (e.g. Client & Matter), in order to find the correct workspace to automatically store the document. This helps customers that may have multiple workspaces with the same Client ID. Providing more information in the search will ensure that the correct workspace is automatically found.

Open Text LiveLink

- The EzeScan LiveLink connector folder browser can now be configured to show hidden folders.

- The LiveLink connector now supports single sign on authentication.

SharePoint

- The EzeScan SharePoint connector now gives an operator the ability to search for a SharePoint document folder in a library. This saves the operator having to browse large folder structures looking for the required folder.
