New Features in EzeScan 4.2.11
New Redaction Features
- EzeScan now has the ability to add a Reason Code to redactions on an image. You can also redact whole areas with the ability to make selected words within that area transparent.
For example: the first paragraph below has been redacted but the phrase including "total value" needed to be left unchanged. The reason code is also added to the redaction (on the left).

- EzeScan now has an option to create a log file of all redaction activities performed on each page of a redacted document. This information is stored in a separate .rlg file.
New Barcode and KFI Exception Handling
- EzeScan has now made it easier for operators to manage their automatic jobs. If a Barcode or KFI exception occurs, EzeScan can email an operator notifying them of an exception so the operator can attend to it.
Tag Images
- As an operator performing QA on a scanned document, you may find the need to rotate, delete, or deskew pages. EzeScan now has an option that allows an operator to tag multiple pages so that all the tagged pages can be rotated or deskewed at once.
KFI Multiple Replace With Option
- When working with forms that require OCR, there can sometimes be issues identifying a . (dot) or think a . is a comma. In KFI an option has been added allowing multiple Replace With options. For example, an OCR may pickup "ezescancomau" KFI will automatically change the value to "ezescan.com.au" or "ezescan, com.au" will fix it to "ezescan.com.au"
