Latest News

EzeScan Server Version now available

EzeScan now has a server version available to help customers who need to process images into their respective EDRMS without any user intervention. EzeScan Server runs as a service and can import images/index files for processing. EzeScan Server version is designed for customers that wish to use barcoded images or provide an image and index file from a MFD. EzeScan Server will then process the image and metadata accordingly and upload into the respective database or EDRMS. As EzeScan Server runs as an automated process without operator interaction, it is restricted to processing metadata fields that require no operator assistance or verification. i.e. barcoded values and or data entered from Multifunction Device.

RMAA Convention

EzeScan will be exhibiting at this year’s RMAA Convention at Sydney’s Darling Harbour from 7th-10th Sept. We will have a number of integration systems on display so if you have some questions, whether they are general or more technical, please email and organise a time with us prior or drop by the stand for a catch up. New Staff Member

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the EzeScan team Rhys McClure. Rhys previously worked with TRIM and Objective EDRMS systems and played a large role in migrating both electronic and hard copy documents into these respective EDRMS systems. Rhys has taken on the role of Support Technician which includes servicing resellers and customers with all pre and post sale technical enquiries.

New EDRMS Features in EzeScan 4.2

Hummingbird

- When uploading into Hummingbird, EzeScan can now set the Hummingbird Profile Form by name, instead of deriving it from the DOCS Application ID.

Objective

- Wintalk integration for Objective 7.2 has been introduced. Wintalk optionaly replaces the Objective ODMA functionality. With Wintalk enabled, EzeScan operators can simply import and load images directly into Objective using File Open and File Save screens.

SharePoint

- EzeScan can now import an image directly from a SharePoint server so that an operator can perform image annotations and then upload the image back into SharePoint as a new version.

TRIM

- Auto Select Open Part, if using Parts with your containers you can now simply type in the container number without the part number. EzeScan will automatically check to see which is the latest/open part and import the file into the respective container. For Example if the Part 07/1-01 is closed and we specify the Container 07/1 EzeScan will store the file in the part 07/1-02 automatically.

WorkSite

-New Folder barcode cover sheet option. If using Interwoven RM or Workspaces, EzeScan can now search on a File ID or Workspace and save the image into a subfolder for the respective workspace. For example, if each Workspace had a subfolder called "documents" EzeScan can search for the Workspace name and place the image into the documents folder for that respective Workspace.
