What's new in EzeScan Version 4.2?
New Installation Features
New General Features
- LDAP Authentication.
- New kiosk interface.
- Redact via OCR. Use the keyword search feature to redact selected words throughout a document.
New OCR Features
- Now supports OmniPage Pro 16.
New KFI Features
- New optional KFI DISCOVERY module. Locate target words on a page by using search terms and search rules. Dynamically finds information. Ideal for invoice processing. Also useful for processing forms where the data is moving around from form to form.
- New XML output options allow the operator to create custom XML output data.
- New zone-based redaction. Automatically redact a zone on a structured form. i.e. a credit card number, bsb & acc details.
- New extract features for varying field lengths. i.e. keep the last 3 digits only.
- You can now run a second KFI in one EzeScan workflow.
- New LDAP lookup feature - Query an LDAP source for information i.e. email address, username.
New UPLOAD Features
- New UPLOAD interface.
- New UPLOAD destination to SMTP.
New DocuShare Integration Features
- Support for DocuShare 6.x.
- Ability to keep the last profiled DocuShare handle for use in updating the next scanned image as a new version.
- Can pass LDAP credentials to DocuShare to set the owner of a document.
New Objective Integration Features
- Option to select files in the Objective File / Folder KFI browse form.
- Added a 'Parent Document' option to the Objective upload options. If a parent document is specified in KFI processing, the current scanned image will update that document as a new version.
- Added 'Reason for Change' to the Objective upload options. This means if a document has been updated with a new version Objective's 'Reason for Change' field can be updated by EzeScan.
New TRIM Integration Features
- New TRIM features - Relate to Container, Redaction of, Associate Relationships (boxes).
- Ability to Select a TRIM Workflow.
- Ability to keep the last profiled TRIM Record ID to use in relating or redacting the next scanned image.
New WorkSite Integration Features
- Support for Class and SubClass document types.
- Ability to perform APS lookups to populate Worksite Client ID's
- Can pass LDAP credentials to WorkSite to set the owner of a document.
New Routing Features
- Route to Printer.
- Route to Email Address.
- New option to call a KFI/UPLOAD and run as a service. This means that an EDRMS job can be run as a service. Note: This is only recommended for jobs that are importing data or using BCR.
