14. What scanners are supported by EzeScan?

EzeScan includes built-in support for TWAIN-compliant scanners, and an optional ISIS scanning module to support ISIS-compliant scanners.

Scanners supporting the TWAIN 1.6 specification or higher should work with EzeScan. Entry level scanners include the Avision 220C2, Kodak i30,i40, i50, Kodak i60, Kodak i200, Fujitsu 4120C , Canon DR2080C, HP 7450C. Most of these are capable of scanning in B&W or colour, single-sided or double-sided, from an automatic document feeder (ADF) and sometimes flatbed. Please refer to the scanner vendor websites for exact technical specifications for these and other scanners.

We strongly recommend using a scanner with a USB 2.0 connection. While EzeScan will work with a TWAIN scanner that has a SCSI connection, data transfer speeds will generally be slower.
